2023 Firepit Society Cabernet Franc

This is a 100% single vineyard, estate grown wine from the Lemmons’ Vineyard. This is the northernmost site in the acclaimed Crane Ridge micro-region: it faces north, experiences constant breezes, and lies under a thick blanket of coastal fog each morning.

Darcie and her family believe in creating a perfect match between terroir and varietal. Working side by side with their neighbors Tom and Paige Lemmons, Darcie and her family planted the site with Cabernet Franc, which winemakers, vintners, researchers and sommeliers declare is a perfect fit for our highlands terroir: well draining soils, sunny days and high winds.
